The Tommykaira M20b 2.2 is one of the rarest complete cars produced by Tomita Yume Koujou, Tommykaira's Kyoto-based production facility. Built on the GDB Impreza WRX STi platform, it represents a full factory conversion covering engine, ECU, suspension, bodywork, and interior — not a tuning package, but a complete reimagined vehicle sold as a finished product. The M20b 2.2 takes Subaru's EJ20 turbocharged boxer and strokes it to 2,149cc using forged pistons and revised bore and stroke dimensions, raising output to approximately 355 ps and 431–441 Nm while retaining the factory Garrett turbocharger for reliability and driveability. Bilstein dampers, Brembo brakes, and Tommykaira PRO-R forged 18-inch wheels complete the chassis package. Fewer than a handful of these cars are known to exist.

This example is finished in Metallic Midnight Blue — a Tommykaira-exclusive colour — with a black and blue Recaro interior featuring Tommykaira embroidery, the turtle-logo aluminium shift knob, and the 260 km/h Tommykaira gauge cluster. The turtle emblem is Tommykaira's signature symbol, representing their philosophy of challenging major manufacturers through small-team precision engineering. Currently located in Japan.
