Understanding your estimate
What the total includes
Choose Japan or Korea, the destination and calculation direction: vehicle price or maximum budget. The total adds priced items: vehicle, fees, shipping, selected insurance, calculated duties and taxes, then entered allowances. Unpriced items remain excluded and the total is marked incomplete.
Why the quotation may differ
The quotation confirms freight, applicable exchange rates, port and third-party charges, tax treatment, documents and required work. The selected homologation allowance covers management fees; tests, parts, transport and registration taxes are not implicitly included.
Collector treatment and reverse calculation
Age alone does not establish collector tax eligibility. Ordinary rates apply by default; reduced rates compare a scenario subject to supporting evidence. In reverse mode, the purchase ceiling excludes unpriced costs: allow for them before authorising a bid.
